The free resources were outdated, filled with case questions that had been recycled so many times they were no longer useful. On the other end of the spectrum were platforms like PrepLounge and Management Consulted, which offered premium coaching—but at a price that felt absurd. I remember seeing a $4,500 price tag and thinking, There’s no way I can afford this.
Yet, a few days later, I met someone who had gone through one of these expensive programs. The difference in their preparation was undeniable.
